Banff Springs Golf Course

Designed in 1928 under the splendor of the snow-capped Canadian Rockies, Banff is the home of the famous "Devil’s Cauldron". Banff Springs is an  amazing combination of  nature, wildlife and golf at its finest.

Course Information

  • Course designed by Stanley Thompson, opened in 1928
  • 74.4 rating/142 slope
  • 7072 total yards from championship tees
  • 18 holes, Par 72

Banff Springs is said to be the first course ever to cost $1 million to build.

9 holes were added to the resort in 1989, giving it 27 holes in total. The new 9 holes are referred to as "The Tunnel 9".
