This is where Arnold Palmer first learned to play golf and now resides. Purchased by Palmer in 1971, this 110-acre club has matured into a beautiful and demanding test of golf skills. Our Latrobe package includes both Summer and Fall foliage.

Course Information
Course designed by
Emil Loeffler & John McGlynn, opened in 1921
James Harrison and Ferdinand Garbin designed the second nine holes, which were added in 1963.
The Latrobe course record is
60, set by Arnold Palmer in 1969.
Arnold Palmer's father, Deacon Palmer, actually helped build the original nine-hole course with his bare hands in the years just prior to Arnold's birth. He then became the Latrobe superintendent there in 1926 and the golf pro in 1932. 'Deke' remained active at Latrobe until his death at the age of 71.
