Pebble Beach Golf Course

Perhaps the most well known golf course in the U.S., Pebble Beach runs along along the shores of Carmel Bay, and is truly one of the great golf wonders of the world. Professionals and recreational players alike are drawn to this golf "mecca" to experience first-hand the wonders of this seaside layout with its rich tradition and natural beauty.

Course Information

  • Course designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, opened in 1919
  • 73.8 rating/142 slope
  • 6737 total yards from championship tees
  • 18 holes, Par 72

Pebble Beach has been the site of numerous major golf tournaments, including the annual AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, the 1972, '82, '92 and 2000 U.S. Open Championships.

Pebble Beach was ranked the No. 1 Public Course in America by Golf Digest in 2005.

Hole #5, a 166-yard par 3, was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1996 to play along the cliffs, with the new tee placed behind the green on hole #4 .
