The Belfry has played host to four Ryder Cup events - in
1985, 1989, 1993 and 2002 -
the most out of any course in the world.
The course has hosted numerous events on The European Tour International Schedule - most recently the 2000, 2001, and 2002 Benson and Hedges International Open.
