Lighting

Improvements to the light model have made a dramatic difference in how the course looks. Courses are now brighter, morning and evening light up the terrain more realistic than before. The addition of a photo real sky dome gives a variety of sky types which add to the natural surroundings.

We've doubled the resolution of terrain textures, added a variety of cut patterns to tee boxes, fairways, and greens, along with region specific textures that provide each course its own unique look.

Physics

The ball and terrain physics in E6Golf have been enhanced, most noticeable in the improved putting. We've made changes to make the putting more authentic.

E6GolfOnline.com is connecting the golf world on a scale never attempted before. Compete with golfers worldwide in Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Stroke Play tournaments, with more styles to come. With E6Golf, users are able to play and compete using any tracking system in the E6 ecosystem. Don't get locked into one hardware manufacturer's on-line community!

TruHandicap™

With each hole played, the TruHandicap system is crunching the numbers behind the scenes to equalize the competitive playing field. It is modeled after the USGA handicapping system and has been enhanced to accurately reflect the subtle differences in international virtual play.

Club Specific statistics

Take your practice, teaching, and fitting to the next level with club-specific tracking. Analyze the distance, carry, club and ball speed, launch angle, club face, deviation, and more on as many custom defined clubs as you want. Make, model, shaft type, loft, and lie are just a few of the things you can define.

Achievements

On a birdie streak and want to know how many you've made this month? Now you can with Achievements. Our statistics and achievement systems track everything you might want to know about your game. Driving distance, GIR, putting stats, par saves, birdies, longest drive, average drive, closest approach on par 4’s, and so much more.

E6GOLF PHYSICS

 golf_simulator_physics

Collision Models

Top notch engineering has taken our software to new dimensions. Ours is the first of its kind to recognize various objects and terrains and model realistic ball collisions with them. For instance, hitting a tree trunk is quite different than hitting the leaves of the tree. A collision with a rock is different than with the pin or the flag, etc. With E6 you get the truest ball collisions.

Terrain Physics

Terrain Types- E6 recognizes different terrain types from tall grass or rough, to fairways, greens, asphalt, sand, etc. and we all understand how critical this differentiation can be to your game.
Terrain Adjustments- You have the freedom to adjust the hardness and the speed of both greens and fairways, which determine the ball’s bounce and roll factors.

Wind

Both the speed and direction of the wind can be customized in practice and in round. Unlike other golf software, wind simulations in E6 aren't just visual effects, but actually affect ball flight.

Elevation

You can adjust your game for elevation differences. Play at the course’s actual elevation or make adjustments for your actual elevation.

Water

The water in E6 isn't just something attractive to admire or a hazard to avoid, but a sophisticated physics based particle system that reacts with the ball based on its speed and trajectory.
