E6GOLF GRAPHICS

Tradition

We create systems that illustrate the splendor, beauty and nuances of legendary courses of the world and we view ourselves as master artisans working under some of the greatest names in course architecture. Names such as Alistair McKenzie, Robert Trent Jones, Donald Ross, CB Macdonald, Stanley Thompson and other giants have created the great “cathedrals” of a sport revered for centuries. We are committed to recreating their legacy of ingenious design, magnificence and tradition within our own medium.

Premium Data
With decades of experience, we hold the keys to creating a beautifully rendered course. And the first key is the use of premium data, both in the amount collected and the quality. We obtain the highest quality data from the same trusted sources the PGA uses.
Workmanship

Another major component is refining the data, molding it with an artistic eye into lush, abundant environments. Our artists have a combined experience of over 80 years specializing in 3D golf course design and construction. We don’t outsource our work to overseas graphic factories that lack experience in golf environments and use cookie-cutter images to fill their courses. We understand, for instance, that Pebble Beach™ just wouldn’t be Pebble Beach™ without those iconic cypress trees, so we painstakingly recreate them, branch by branch, placing them where they belong on the course.

Real World Lighting

We use a Real World Lighting Model that reveals the truest depth, color, shadowing, and reflection. Capture the perfect light by choosing the Time-of-Day you want to tee off and feel the dramatic effects the movement of the sun and shadows have on your game.

E6GOLF PHYSICS

What is E6GOLF? It is not a video game, as some would have you think. It makes what is impossible in photo-based systems and outmoded CG systems, possible. E6GOLF is a 3D physics based product that encompasses the beauty of the world’s finest golf courses with real world physics at its core. E6GOLF is not just something you see, but something you experience.

 golf_simulator_physics

Collision Models

Top notch engineering has taken our software to new dimensions. Ours is the first of its kind to recognize various objects and terrains and model realistic ball collisions with them. For instance, hitting a tree trunk is quite different than hitting the leaves of the tree. A collision with a rock is different than with the pin or the flag, etc. With E6 you get the truest ball collisions.

Terrain Physics

Terrain Types- E6 recognizes different terrain types from tall grass or rough, to fairways, greens, asphalt, sand, etc. and we all understand how critical this differentiation can be to your game.
Terrain Adjustments- You have the freedom to adjust the hardness and the speed of both greens and fairways, which determine the ball’s bounce and roll factors.

Wind

Both the speed and direction of the wind can be customized in practice and in round. Unlike other golf software, wind simulations in E6 aren’t just visual effects, but actually affect ball flight.

Elevation

You can adjust your game for elevation differences. Play at the course’s actual elevation or make adjustments for your actual elevation.

Water

The water in E6 isn’t just something attractive to admire or a hazard to avoid, but a sophisticated physics based particle system that reacts with the ball based on its speed and trajectory.
